I am an academic, curator and researcher with wide-reaching interests from art and graphic design, to museums, their collections and the stories they tell.
I have a background in Asian art history and museum studies, and received my PhD from the University of Leicester in 2010. I have worked in museums as a curator and researcher, and in academia as a lecturer, tutor, researcher and programme manager at the University of Leicester, Loughborough University and the University of Warwick. Since November 2019, I have been a Staff Tutor in Art History at the Open University.
Most days, you can find me tapping away on a laptop and supping a matcha latte in one of Leicester’s fabulous independent coffee shops! I’ve moved! Now back home in Suffolk, you’ll find me drinking green tea while wearing loungewear, and patiently awaiting the end of lockdown.
